I’ve been thinking a lot about “going analog” and cutting way, way back on my media and internet consumption.
Hazel hung out with her Nonna today so I had the day off from mommin’ and after an hour and a half or so of sitting in my chair on the computer, it occurred to me that in 70 years, I don’t want to reminisce about the hours I spent in front of a screen while our lives passed by.
I want to read, create, adventure, learn, eat, rest, worship, and live a whole and plentiful life.
Now if I can just pull myself away, I know it’ll be worth it.
Also, it’s hydrangea season. So many heart eyes. The bush in front of our house has been full of them the past few weeks! So I’m cutting as many bouquets as possible before they’re all dried up.
